We have just released the "Domain blacklist BOOT" plug-in for Simple DNS Plus.

This reads a blocklist in the standard BOOT file format, such as that available from malwaredomains.com (see "BH DNS Files" section), and will match/block DNS requests for any domain name (including sub-names) matching primary zone names found in the BOOT file.

Over the past few days, a number of Simple DNS Plus users have reported that they are receiving a lot of incoming DNS requests for <root> and/or various unknown domain names - typically originating from a limited number of IP addresses.
